The Floating Room

Experience a whole new way of hosting meetings and events with The Floating Room - a floating meeting room in the middle of Copenhagen Harbor. Designed by SEANICS for GoBoat, The Floating Room combines Danish design with modern meeting facilities to create a unique and inspiring setting for your next full or half-day meeting or event. The Floating Room is equipped with everything a modern meeting room needs - from video conferencing equipment to WiFi. It can accommodate up to 20 people for events and 12 people for seated meetings.

Partnerships made The Floating Room possible

GoBoat was created to open the water for everyone. The company has been doing this since 2014. In order to offer more experiences on the water in winter, GoBoat teamed up with SEANICS and VELUX to create The Floating Room. SEANICS makes floating modules for all kinds of situations (sauna, storage, hotel, restaurant, etc.). VELUX flat roof windows were included from the start, as they fit perfectly with the experience and ensure a good indoor climate.

With the meeting room produced, we looked at the layout of the room. The room is equipped with a screen and a camera from AVC. In addition, meeting rooms should be pleasant to spend time in, so The Floating Room is equipped with self-watering design plants from Squarely.

The Floating Room is located in the same place for about two months at a time. First at Blox and from mid-October at Islands Brygge. The partners for 2025 will be announced soon. At Blox, we collaborate with BLOX EATS on the delivery of catering.
